Who am I?
Hi, I am Sarah. My students are mainly expats, who would like to acquire a basic knowledge of German as fast as possible and business people who need to train their German skills for professional purposes.
I am a sworn translator and interpreter (Spanish-German) specialized in translation of official documents and marketing content. In order to qualify as a German teacher, I realized a one-year training at the Goethe Institut. Before I decided to start freelancing as a private teacher, I had been teaching German as a foreign language for more than 4 years in-company and in language academies in Germany, France and Spain.
My aim is to help people overcome language barriers. Students may also book me as a translator or as a interpreter.

I am the perfect teacher for you, because...
This is what my students say...
Andrea, Chile, lawyer:
„I´m Andrea from Chile. I’ve been learning German with Sarah for 4 months. I surely can recommend her. She is an amazing language teacher. Sarah is very nice and professional. She always prepares your lesson and guides you with clarity and patience. I’m sure that with Sarah everyone can learn German.“
Elena, Russland, translator:
„I’ve known Sarah ever since I started learning German, as a complete beginner over 3 months ago. Although I only have one 60 minute lesson a week, I’m extremely happy with the progress that I’ve made, and continue to make.
Sarah’s always punctual for our lessons and constantly displays a high level of professionalism. In my opinion, my teacher maintains full control of the lesson, is always well prepared, supplies all the necessary material, and in my case regularly assigns homework tasks, which are deliberately set at a level a little higher than my ability with the sole purpose of challenging me further. I must say this helps an awful lot.
Sarah’s keen sense of humour, a relaxed easy-going teaching style and an eagerness to motivate and encourage makes our lessons thoroughly enjoyable.
I’d strongly recommend anyone interested in learning or developing their German language skills to consider contacting Sarah, I’m sure you’ll be very happy with your choice, as indeed I am.“
