About me
- German native speaker with international experience
- Based in Italy on Lake Maggiore since 1989 (with a 2-year stay in Chicago, USA)
- Teaching experience since 2006, online teaching since the Covid pandemic

- Translating and interpreting (specialization: metal working and food industries)

How did I get into teaching?
I only discovered my passion for teaching in 2006 when my daughter went to secondary school in Italy. In the beginning, I only helped her classmates in both German and English. Later, from around 2012, I taught classes and individuals for private language schools, companies and a lot privately through recommendations from satisfied students. During this time I got to know Jan and his website and was rapt away by his easy-to-understand explanation of German grammar! After that, I became “virtually” addicted to teaching. When the opportunity arose, I also worked as a translator and interpreter for Italian companies.
